Testimonials

I always said I would put my child in school early to develop her motor, sensorial, emotional, cognitive and social skills, and the school should be bilingual. When I started visiting schools, I had in mind the choice should be like my school at her age, a place where I could feel myself at home, which in addition to quality I could see love around. Step by Step overcame all of my expectations and I know I took the right decision. Ana Sophia is experiencing everything I always dreamed.

I chose Step by Step in two different occasions. At first, when I was a new mother. I was attracted by the newly created school and its pioneering bilingual education, its cozy space and location. Years later, I enrolled my second daughter at school because of those qualities I already knew and for some more: having my family recognized as part of the school community, each child is respected in her individuality, and the school aims to be connected to innovative ideas – everything surrounded by a caring environment.

Step by Step became for us synonymous with love, care and dedication in the form of school; English and Portuguese in the form of art, music and language; competence and dedication in the form of letters and numbers; care and affection in the form of hugs and recreational activities and dedication in the right amount. It is safe and protective as in "grandmother's house". They welcome us from arrival time to bye- bye. It is reference for care, attention, encouragement and education we seek for our little girls. And finally, it is the sigh of Iara´s relief when confronted with situations that we thought she still would not know, she says: "Oh, mother! I learned at Step!"

Before my daughter entered the school, I had already chosen the Step by Step. Some friends have had their children enrolled there and given me the best impressions. Moreover, wherever I heard about the school, the comments were positive and this encouraged me to get to know it. The physical space was exactly what I was looking for my daughter. My critical eye scanned every corner and found no defects: it was a safe space, ideal size, with perfect infrastructure to combine the fun that every child expects to the development of skills that all parents want for their children. The staff who receives me at school, since the arrival at the doors to the Principal always shows me shining eyes and the enchantment that is usually seen only in the first days of school. English flowing through the hallways showed me a real bilingual environment and it has made me dream about the world that would open for my daughter from that learning. It was much more than I was expecting. The certainty of success of teaching proposal guided by trained and clearly passionate professionals for what they do, made me decide! The long search was over. And since then, every day I only reap the fruits of this choice: the smile at my daughter’s face, the learning of English language which appears so natural on her day, the care we receive every day as if it was the first day of class, everyone happy, motivated, with open arms to welcome us gives us the assurance there wouldn’t be a second choice. According to my expectations and values that I seek for my daughter’s development, I'm sure that Step by Step is able to help her trace her own steps towards the bright future that awaits her!

It’s always nice to return to a school that has always given attention, affection to my son, and always respects each child’s individuality and values teaching. I chose Step by Step because I know its expertise and also because children are equal treated there. I’m sure Step by Step is the best school to provide the teaching my son needs.

Our relationship with Step by Step is full of love, trust and gratitude. Five years ago, we  enrolled our first son. Our family has grown and now we have three children studying at Step by Step. All the staff knows them by their names, understands their individual needs and their different ways of being. Sometimes, we need special support to solve difficulties and we always receive more than we expected. The school is always willing for the best results and enthusiastic with our children’s achievements. We trust our children are in a crew’s hands we believe are able to take care and teach them with love. Surely we made the right choice.
