For nine years, Step by Step has been investing in developing a mature and prepared staff to deal with Bilingual Education, to provide students a high quality educational program based on comprehensive early learning standards that address multiple domains of development – academic, social-emotional, and physical, to ensure children are growing in all the ways that enable them to be healthy, ready for school and most of all, happy citizens.
Who we are
Step by Step was founded in November of 2007, with the purpose of bringing to Belem a Bilingual Education program for children.
Step by Step believes that the education process can be constituted by two or more languages concomitantly. So, as the pioneer Bilingual School in Belem, Step by Step was the first one in providing children an educational proposal that combines the knowledge areas designated for Preschool and English Language Immersion.
In 2009, Step by Step expanded its work in Bilingual Education offering First grade for the students, which also ensured them a literacy process in Portuguese.
